One of my favorite Shoguns I have read about that lived in mid-15th and early 16th century feudal Japan was Ieyasu Tokugawa.

The reason why I chose this quote is because I believe it is true. We humans are not perfect and inconveniences are always around the corner. By persuading oneself to accept inconveniences and their imperfect selves, one may lead a more optimistic way of life and strive for (if not for perfection) the best they can be.

ReplyDeleteI think this is a great quote and is exactly what I tell people in my own words. It is just exactly how I feel. I hate people telling me how I should live my life. I don't like being told what to do or that what I'm doin is wrong. I know right from wrong and I have a good head on my shoulders. If I make a mistake, it's my own fault and I don't need opinions from anyone else. The people who really matter will love and accept me no matter what I do. So this qoute explains my feelings perfectly. I know I am still young, but it is my life. Not my parents, friends, or anyone elses. And I'm going to live it however I want to.
